Morgan Stables welcomes miss Faith Wood and her mares Fancy and Millie to the farm!
Faith has been riding well before she could walk. As a child growing up outside of Royston, GA, she rode on a drill team and also attended play day shows.
Morgan Stables is situated on 14.55 +/- acres in lovely Hart County Georgia only two miles from the beautiful Lake Hartwell.
Tucked behind our gated entrance, we have an 18 stall barn, three large pastures, and two smaller turn out paddocks. We also have a fifty foot wooden round pen with river sand footing and a 100 x 70 foot "loping pen" with a mixture of river sand and plowed red dirt. It's wonderful footing for any equine activity!
Morgan Stables, and it's staff, strive for nothing but excellence in our facility. We are a worry free barn with only one rule; please clean up after you and your horse.
With almost twenty-five years under her belt, Faith is now well established in the local barrel racing community (in both Georgia and South Carolina) and a multiple time NBHA world qualifier.
Faith is also a skilled up and coming trainer with several horses (mostly hers) under her belt. When not riding, she is teaching her daughter and those around her how to ride and the ropes of the barrel world.
Faith is now a welcomed part of the Morgan Stables family. To book a private lesson, or a horse tune up with Faith, contact us today!

Emily wasn't born into the horse world, but better yet, stumbled upon it when she was young -- she got to ride a horse during a field trip to a farm in Pre-K, and her fate was sealed!
Growing up, her family didn't have the funds for the lessons she so desperately wanted so she resorted to riding her friend's back yard horses until she met a school mate, who turned out to be not only one of her best friends, but also her riding instructor.
Through wonderful friends made over the years, Emily was able to get her foot into the equine world, and is now making a career out of it. Her favorite breed are American Quarter Horses, but has been blessed to ride many wonderful horses of all breeds.
Emily has owned, rode, and shown horses for over fifteen years. For the past six years, she has taken her knowledge and started helping other horse crazy children, by teaching lessons -- sometimes for six days a week!
Apart from being horse crazy, Emily is also a professional photographer with an emphasis in equine portraiture. She takes a lot of our photos around the barn, and if you come out for a lesson, or a visit -- chances are she will either have her camera around her neck, or her phone out snapping photos.
Come on out to Morgan Stables, and schedule a lesson with miss Emily. You won't be sorry!
